Over one hundred professionals congregated the first of December for the annual national event BiogasTinget which was held in Stockholm, Sweden.

Twenty speakers, among others the former spokes person of the Swedish Green Party, covered a wide range of biogas related topics. After a plenary session the participants was free to choose from three parallel sessions, focused on local, regional and global biogas issues respectively. The Baltic Biogas Bus project co-organized the whole event and was also solely in charge of the sessions dealing with the regional aspects of biogas usage. The Stockholm area was used as an example region when the good work done within the BBB project was presented to an audience numbering approximately thirty people. In addition of introducing the BBB project the speakers talked about regional biogas production, urban biogas infrastructure and how a determined local transport company can help implement the use of biogas as a vehicle fuel.
