On December 12th a study visit and seminar regarding "drivers for implementation of biogas for urban public transports" was hosted by Västerås Public Transport and Biogas East in Västerås, Sweden, as part of the Baltic Biogas Bus extension stage project.

On December 12th a study visit and seminar regarding "drivers for implementation of biogas for urban public transports" was hosted by Västerås Public Transport and Biogas East in Västerås, Sweden, as part of the Baltic Biogas Bus extension stage project. Little over 40 persons attended the event, among them were decision makers from around the Baltic Sea Region.

The participants visited the biogas production plant in Västerås where food waste and ley crops are turned into biogas. They also got to see the upgrading facility and the bus depot where biogas is fuelled in more than 100 buses. During the afternoon seminar the Västerås case was discussed in more detail, along with updates from the Baltic Biogas Bus extension stage activities.
